Hi!
Making time for playing should be a positive and fun way to express yourself and connect with others, but it can also be frustrating, challenging or boring with the wrong mindset or teacher. I created this collection of videos and blogs to help you learn guitar in a way that brings joy and helps you be the most creative version of yourself. This site is not about being a perfect, famous, or a “finished product” guitar player, but rather a place for us to be exactly who we are and geek out about guitar things together. Who I am
From the second I picked up my first guitar, I was hooked! I went to Belmont University and studied Music Business when I was younger, only to graduate with serious impostor syndrome. After deciding I wasn't going to let my self-doubt stop me, I started doing a little bit every day to inch toward my goal of being a full-time musician. From posting videos on Instagram and blogging, I was able to eventually get gigs playing professionally for radio tours, playing record release parties, doing gear demos with the top brands, and more than anything, tons and tons of shows. I have now started my own band and am passionate about teaching you everything I know in a fun, approachable way!
