Hi!

I’m Haley —course creator, content maker, and full-time musician. I grew up on the Central Coast of California in a musical family (and family bluegrass band!). After becoming obsessed with all things guitar, I left CA for Belmont University and have been a Nashvillian ever since. Playing music brings me to life and there is nothing more fun to me than being a part of the creative process with other people! I’ve been lucky enough to get to play both lead and rhythm guitar, and to sing harmony for many bands in Nashville (mainly pop and country bands) including Bailey James, Violet LaVelle, Tahne, Hannah Bethal, Ethos Church, Lindsay Brandt, and many others, as well as my band, The Rivalry.

In addition to playing in bands and having gigs each week (both in Nashville and on tours!), I have sponsorships with Taylor Guitars, Rivolta Guitars, Eventide Audio, Ernie Ball, Orangewood, CNZ Audio, and others, and have been invited by NAMM to do social media at their annual conferences the past few years. Being in Nashville for such a long time has made me realize how easy it is to get discouraged or burnt out as a musician, whether you are just learning or have been playing in bands for years. I wanted to create something here that would help other guitarists like me stay encouraged and to have fun in the learning phase as a guitarist.

This site is not about being a perfect, famous, or a “finished product” guitar player, but rather a place for us to be exactly who we are and geek out about guitar things together. Send me a message if you want to connect!
